Your new job title: Logistics Analyst Location: Weybridge, Surrey Salary: up to £33,500 plus (up to £3k bonus) Hours: 37.5 hours per week; however, flexibility required in order to fulfill role You will be working in the Supply Chain & Logistics Team who are responsible for supply chain management and logistical operations to ensure that the companies fantastic products are delivered, stored and managed efficiently and successfully. You will hold responsibility for the coordination of cross-functional projects, liaising with departments across the business on resource and project planning and applying innovative thinking whilst being aligned with the company’s goals. In addition, you will work proactively to capture and document requirements, have the ability to recognise opportunities to improve business processes and system and quantify potential benefits to support business cases. Your main responsibilities: Coordinate cross-functional projects; represent the SCM function internally and liaise with departments across the business on resource and project planning. Applying innovative-thinking, whilst being aligned with management and company goals. Work proactively with the business to capture and document requirements in a clear and concise fashion. Taking complex problems and documenting them in a coherent manner in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills without ambiguity. The ability to recognise opportunities to improve business processes and systems and to quantify potential benefits to support building business cases. Work with functions across the company, including SCM departments (Logistics and Sales Administration), Sales, Marketing, and other functional departments to plan and deliver impactful and smooth engagements that benefit all stakeholders. Responsible for coordinating the project from an SCM perspective including the creation of process reviews (in order to plan & initiate the projects) and ensuring that, together with the project leader, the project remains on track and delivers 'On time’, 'in full’. Required to work with external suppliers/3rd Parties to understand key timings/constraints/costs and may need to develop and manage networks or implementation plans. The skills you need to be successful: Supply Chain/Logistics experience. Ideally a Bachelors / Masters in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field. Demonstrated ability in project management and cross-functional team working. Effective problem solving and analytical skills essential. Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data with clear and concise presentations. Demonstrated experience of budget planning and/or monitoring of costs.
