An excellent role on offer for a Production Manager looking to join an industry leader, working in a brand new and challenging role where you can make a real impact, whilst progressing your career into senior management. Have you got a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent? Have you got management or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to progress into senior management? This highly regarded company specialise in the manufacture of specialist chemicals for the agrochemical, fine and speciality chemical industries both in the UK and worldwide. They have over 200 staff and are set on 114 acres with the capacity to grow further. They have exciting expansion plans this year and they have created a new Production Manager role to assist with these expansion plans. Therefore they are looking for a Production Manager who will oversee and manage this brand new development. In this new role you will have the chance to shape and mould the Production department to achieve its production targets. You will be responsible for managing, leading and developing a team of 25 personnel to ensure they are the best of their capabilities. You will also manage, monitor and continuously improve manufacturing plant performance including safety, cost & delivery and plant reliability. Therefore this role would ideally suit a Production Manager that is looking to make a real impact within this brand new role, where you will manage a team of professionals, whilst progressing into senior management.
