Case Development Officer
Overview
LAW Absolute are very excited to be working with this high-profile global start-up who are focussed on reviewing online content and escalating potentially contentious content. Opportunities like this are a rarity and ones to jump on when they do The role: Review cases that have been raised as potentially contentious. Coordinate additional external materials on selected cases. Speak with outside experts for their input, including; academics, lawyers, journalists, civil society and linguists on specific issues. Draft decisions and recommendations, including rationale for reaching that decision. Provide analysis and reporting as and when required on case management flows and decisions. Skills set required: Previous experience in content moderation, ideally on a social media platform. Specialism or strong interest in human rights. Experience liaising with policymakers, civil society and non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders. Experience working with judicial systems, courts, ombudsman and self-regulatory bodies. Strong judgement skills. A knowledge of multiple languages preferable. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
