Overview
Our client, a leading sports and entertainment marketing and advertising agency, is looking for a Revenue Accountant. With offices across 5 continents, they are an established and successful agency specialising in sports and entertainment. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills, analytical and hands-on. With a Billings background, they are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running. Job Specification and Responsibilities Billing of fees and recharges to various clients on a timely and accurate basis Billing monthly intercompany recharges Actual vs budget reconciliation and analysis with variance commentary on projects for various clients Prepare finance pack and to hold meetings with account managers to discuss actuals vs budget, WIP, aged debtors, billing and other issues Credit control Reconcile debtor accounts To post and allocate receipts daily Prepare aged debtors and WIP reports for weekly meetings Prepare revenue packs with variance commentary to budget and periodic variances Prepare debtors pack with commentary Prepare and manage deferred income schedule Manage and maintain the WIP ledger Maintain client jobs on Maconomy Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of revenue reporting and ensuring compliance with all internal and external accounting policies and regulations Assist in SOX, internal and external audits Working to tight deadlines built in to the monthly cycle of work Other Adhoc request from FC or CFO Key skills and experience required Must be excel proficient and comfortable around spread sheet creation and manipulation Strong communication skills, both written and oral Disciplined and analytical approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at all levels Works in a structured manner, deadline oriented Continually seeks improved and more efficient methods of working Pro-active self-starter and team player Analytical mind-set Works well in a pressured environment Hands-on approach Confident and personable nature with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers Experience in working with Maconomy (Ideal) If this sounds like you then please send us your CV now Due to the high volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
