Overview

I'm working with a consulting firm who's Head Office is in London and they are looking to grow their team in the New Year. This is a hybrid account management/new business position, so they are looking for the successful candidate to grow the portfolio of clients they will be assigned through cross-selling, referrals and any other form of new business. The role will be tied to their London office, but the majority of your time will be spent on the road/working from home. Due to the location of the client portfolio, this role would suit someone who lives in the Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey region. You would not be discounted if you lived outside of the area. It is desirable that the successful Consultant has some industry relevant exams such as; GR1, IF7 - also happy for FPC 123 to grandfather RO4: Ensure the client portfolio is managed in a manner which is consistent with the client agreement and brand values Ensure the financial targets from within the client portfolio are exceeded, achieved or corrections are communicated to the Head of Consulting Contribute to the development and delivery of the SME strategy and its associated products to achieve the business plan Work within the SME practice team to assist in achieving the overall business plan and maximising cross practice understanding, opportunities and efficiency's Respond to all client portfolio queries (appropriate for the role) in a timely and supportive manner consistent with brand values Assist all portfolio clients with the development of their employee benefits strategy Maintain a thorough understanding of the SME proposition with a view to maximising opportunities Work with the SME practice team to develop the SME client solutions strategy and assist with project-based activities Assess the key business/client risks and control issues of the client portfolio Attend and actively participate in the monthly management team meetings Attend industry events to maintain a good understanding of competitors propositions, industry developments and to represent firm as a thought leader Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the SME practice, and other key employees within employee benefits Visit the IDEX Consulting Ltd website for further opportunities.
