Overview
A well established Children Services are now recruiting for Senior Support Worker for their 5 bed Residential Care Homes in Lymington, Hampshire. You will be supporting Children & Young People from 8 - 19 year olds who have ASD (learning disabilities, Autism, high functioning Aspergers) and mental health who will display challenging behaviour. Main Job Role: - Staff supervision / shift leading - Practical, therapeutic and emotional support of children - Overseeing house in manager`s absence - In charge of rosters and covering shifts - Update risk assessments, health & safety checks, care and support plans - Prompt only with personal care Qualifying candidates: - Have senior experience - Must have a Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 3 in Children & Young Peoples Workforce - The homes are based 25mins walk down a dark county lane from the train station Contract / Terms: - Salary is £20,280 per annum £9.75 an hour - Full time 40 hours a week - Sleeps are available at request paid at £50 per sleep - Shifts are 7:30am - 3:30pm, 3pm - 11pm (long days available too) Benefits (pro rota): - You will be provided with an excellent training program with full support - 6 weeks annual leave - Will be given the chance to complete your NVQ / QCF level 3 - Discount on high street brands and shopping - Childcare vouchers - Career progression (several progression opportunities) - Company Pension scheme If you have the right skills or experience for this role; then please call Jeet on or email your CV with the job reference number to: - thank you and good luck with your job search Connect with me on: Instagram: J33TS Twitter: Jeet_JDKS LinkedIn: Jeet Kaur-Sathi
