Job Description

Nottingham Children's Hospital has a vacancy for a Clinical Support Worker to be based at the Children's Development Centre (CDC) on the City Hospital Campus. The post will be for 30 hours a week, with a view to working them over 5 days if needed. We run a variety of clinics at the CDC and have a small nursing team that support the Paediatricians with this. Alongside this we would like the candidate to eventually be able to take bloods, however this is not an essential to be able to apply please note training will be given to the successful candidate if required. We are proud of our investment in staff and have a well -established induction and support programme for clinical support workers with the opportunity to complete the national care certificate. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with children, preferably within a health care setting. You will also demonstrate a talent for being caring and compassionate, and have excellent communication skills.
