Salary: 43,869 - 53,964 per annum Permanent 37 Hours per Week This is a unique opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to make a significant impact on multi-agency safeguarding practice in Thurrock. If you have relevant multi-agency safeguarding experience, you are dynamic, can work with initiative and have the vision to drive forward multi-agency projects engaging partner agencies- this post will be for you! We already have successful partnerships in place, as evidenced in the recent Ofsted ILACS in November 2019, which resulted in a 'Good' judgement. The successful candidate will join a supportive and established partnership, keen to provide the best outcomes for children. We are one year on from the new Safeguarding arrangements and this is a perfect role for someone who is keen to drive forward, and build on the successes already in place. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders from the statutory services to ensure an ambitious development plan is delivered, with a Quality Assurance framework informed by a robust data set and contemporary qualitative information. The post holder will be responsible for driving this forward through collaborative work with statutory partner agencies and the voluntary sector. The post holder is based in the Council's Children's Services and reports to the Strategic Lead Quality Assurance and Reviewing.
