Children & Young People's Case Manager (Rehabilitation) Bush & Company is the largest and fastest growing provider of expert witness, immediate needs assessment and case management services in the UK. For over 30 years we have provided a service to injured people, to solicitors and to insurance companies. We specialise in catastrophic and serious injury cases and are happy to act on referral from the injured person or by instruction from the Claimant or Defendant representative. Position: Children and Young People' Case Managers Location: Nationwide - Flexible working from home Job Type: Self Employed Salary: Excellent rate of pay About the role: Due to expansion we're looking for qualified clinicians including registered nurses, paediatric nurses, learning disability nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists , Social Workers with a clinical background in catastrophic injury such as acquired brain injury, birth injury, complex orthopaedic injury or amputee management to work as a Case Managers in our team. A Case Manager is a qualified professional who assesses, plans, implements, monitors and evaluates rehabilitation, care and support services. They work in a client centred way agreeing SMART goals with those involved and use creativity, initiative and problem-solving skills to meet a client's individual needs. Services are commissioned from the statutory, voluntary and private sectors and the case manager, via holistic assessment and recommendation, will be involved in organising services to meet health, social, educational and environmental needs. The role is varied, challenging and very rewarding. For those clients actively involved in litigation the case manager will be working with the legal team and the insurers involved as well as a wide range of service providers. A Case Manager can work with a client and their family until all goals are met and/or funding ceases and for some this involvement is life long and will involve transition arrangements to adulthood, independent living and beyond. Roles within our children's service require experience of working with children and families, safeguarding and children's disability. .
