Logistics Supervisor Permanent Position Excellent Salary & Package West Midlands My client is a leader within the automotive sector. Due to the growth of their business, they are looking for a Logistics Supervisor on a permanent basis to join their ever-growing team. Logistics Supervisor Job Description · Responsible for managing the warehouse function for both inbound and outbound products, to maximize available capacity in line with supplier and customer dispatch · Managing 2 Team Leaders daily · Ensure material flow is in line with Lean principles and practice - in line with shop floor expectations · Manage, motivate and give clear direction to the logistics team whilst also working closely with the Materials Planning and Logistics Manager and other office functions · Control of internal and external customer packaging to ensure consistent flow allowing flexible manufacturing within the shop floor · Manage shop floor material Kanban racks, replenish in a timely manner avoiding stock outs Logistics Supervisor Essential Skills · 5 years’ experience working in a similar position within the Automotive industry – Essential · Previous experience managing a small team · Must have strong Excel skills · Must be a strong communicator with all levels · Able to organise, delegate and prioritise multiple tasks Logistics Supervisor Desirable Skills · Relevant degree / qualification
