Overview
PMO Analyst Aldgate Job Description: Pontoon has an exciting opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join a prestigious financial services company on permanent basis. As a PMO Analyst you are responsible for defining and maintaining the approach by which change is delivered. The PMO Analyst will conduct assurance activities which will ensure that projects within the Change Portfolio are on track to deliver their stated objectives whilst adhering to the Change Approach. As required, the PMO Analyst will provide support and advice to projects to help ensure their successful delivery. Duties Act as a subject matter expert in the change approach and its associated tools and techniques. Ensure that the portfolio of Change projects and programmes adhere to the defined change approach Work with Project and Programme Managers to ensure that risks and issues are properly identified and tracked Seeks ways to continuously improve the way change is delivered Measure analyse and report on a series of metrics relating to cost, time, quality and benefit realisation. Produce monthly Change Portfolio Board reporting packs. Coordinate plans and milestones with projects/workstreams. Track realisation of benefits for completed projects. Carry out independent quality assurance of project deliverables through day to day assurance activities and performing stage gate reviews. Tracks actions arising from assurance activities to completion Capture, analyse and circulate lessons learned, ensuring that future projects take on board past learnings. Manage and tracks key governance processes It would be great to see candidates with: Experience of working within a Portfolio Management Office A sound understanding of Change methodologies including Waterfall and Agile Prince 2 or APM qualified Experience of project management tools and techniques A proven ability to implement and continuously improve change processes Proficient in data analysis to identify root causes of business problems and to propose appropriate solutions Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities to ensure that stakeholder requirements are met Pontoon is part of the Adecco Group which is an equal opportunities employer.
