Overview
Claims Advisor - Ormskirk Area - £18k basic - 12 weeks Temporary to Permanent. My client are a Non Fault accident claims management company. They have experienced considerable growth over the last few years and due to further expansion, are looking to add to their Fleet Claims team. This is an exciting opportunity with the opportunity for internal progression for the right candidate. Primarily, the role will involve contacting new clients by telephone in order to take details of their accident. You will record details for an assessment to made in relation to prospects of success and to help decide whether or not the claim can be accepted. You will gather documents from clients to support a claim and arrange recovery of damaged vehicles and other services as required. Principal Responsibilities will include: · To answer incoming telephone calls in a call centre environment · To make outgoing calls in response to a clients request to call back · To obtain information and input data on our claims database regarding clients accidents · To check the validity of clients vehicle documents and identification · To send a request for a hire vehicle where required to the fleet department · To effectively communicate our decision regarding a claim to the client, the associated garage and the BDM · To undertake any other reasonable task to ensure the efficient operation of the business Requirements for the Role: · Call Based experience · Attention to detail · Administratively organized · Effective communication skills · Ability to work in a busy pressurised environment to meet deadlines. · IT literate Working hours consist of 2 shifts 8-4 and 10-6 1 Saturday morning in 3. In return, the successful candidate will earn a basic salary of £18,000 per annum, 22 days holiday Bank Holidays. This role is temporary for the first 12 weeks leading to permanent.
