Job Description
Trainee Claims Assessor LIMemergency (LIMe), an expanding division of LIM Group, is looking to recruit a Trainee Claims Assessor to provide support and assistance in emergency situations while delivering an outstanding customer experience. LIMe is a leading specialist in the field of Home Emergency Insurance offering bespoke, highly-customised policies ideal for our partners to service the Home Emergency market. Working within the dynamic LIMemergency Team, you will receive training in processing, validating and resolving customers' home emergency claims efficiently, in accordance with the policy wording. A Claims Assessor will also be involved in appointing and liaising with approved contractors, keeping the claimant informed regularly as a point of contact and support throughout the claims handling process. You will collect feedback from each and every customer, honing your customer service skills in our mission to provide each customer with a delightful experience. Working alongside our Contractor Network Manager and Team, you will provide feedback on contractor performance and impact the way in which our network grows and services customers. You will establish relationships with key contractors to enhance your ability to obtain significant claim information. Becoming a Claims Assessor with LIMe is an exciting opportunity in an innovative, dynamic and rapidly growing team, within a niche, market-leading organisation. As a Trainee Claims Assessor, you will be sponsored as a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to complete the Certificate in Insurance. Successful completion of the Certificate in Insurance will allow you to use the post-nominals 'Cert CII'; well recognised within the insurance industry. The Certificate will help you to hone your skills as a Claims Assessor, while also giving you a broader understanding of insurance. Flexible Shift Pattern: To ensure customers receive assistance when they need it most, our home emergency helpline is a 24/7, 365 operation. We are therefore looking for a flexible individual who is capable of working at least 3 of the following shifts; 08:00 - 16:30 09:00 - 17:30 11:00 - 19:30 14:30 - 23:00 This is likely to include working approximately 50% of weekends (one weekend on, one weekend off...). A successful candidate may ask for the opportunity to agree a set, weekly shift pattern, accommodating personal responsibilities, to ensure a positive work-life balance.
