Overview
Operations Project Manager Salary £35-50K (Dependent upon experience) Our client are a well- established and fast expanding social care company. Due to continued rapid expansion, they are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with Project Management exposure; to fill a new position which plays a pivotal role within the long term business growth strategy. Reporting into the Head of Service, you will be restructuring and further developing the existing operation to lead on expansion projects within their operations. The role will suit a dynamic operational manager; who is equally comfortable contributing strategic as well as "handson" in depth operational management. This role will work alongside and support Heads of Service for Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Home Care and Specialist Care to support their rapidly expanding services and has the potential in itself to grow in to a Head of services role. The benefits: 28 days annual leave Business mileage & Car Business Mileage Premium paid Company Mobile Phone Company Laptop Free Car Parking Key Features of the role: - Proficiently manage the day to day operations, staffing issues, including recruitment, supervision, development and performance management; - Strategic Project Management - Mobilising contract wins, realising existing contracts, capacity & availability mapping, support the operation with margin and market growth; - Focusing on quality improvements & fiscal output; ensuring growth & sustainability of contracts; - Manage & resolve all complaints - examining and interrogating trends and patterns; - Continually monitoring and delivering service excellence in using all Quality audit assessment tools to ensure compliance with CQC, contract service level agreement and National Minimum Standards; - Maintaining relationships with existing clients and suppliers and taking the lead on building new customer and budget holder relationships; - Ensuring maximum quality standards are adhered to across the operation from top down/bottom up; - Supporting the Head of Service with business development, pricing, tenders, presentations; with the goal of increasing hours billed; - Accurate capacity mapping recruitment and selection to ensure effective fulfilment and contract profitability; including TUPE in/out & mobilisation, transfer/transition of contracted services, service users, staff, property and assets; - Manage Service user and staff satisfaction surveys and ensure accurate Operational KPI reporting. Skills/Experience Required: - Experience of directly leading CQC Domiciliary care services, comprising of Specialist care, Extra care, Learning Disabilities, Elderly and Dementia care - with a demonstrable track record of delivering "good" or "outstanding" ratings; - You must have experience of building teams, capabilities and infrastructure to enable rapid scaling up of operations; - You must have Project management experience, including planning, budgeting, administrating and leading on the implementation of operational projects (ideally with formal PM qualifications); - Previous experience of managing financial budgets and deliver effective cost control; - Experience of creating and implementing processes, policies, operating procedures, and KPIs - You must have experience of working at senior management level; with the competency and skills to deliver all related tasks within timeframes, budget and quality; - You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; with the ability to communicate at all levels with a range of internal and external stakeholders; - Knowledge and experience of supporting service users with Mental Health or Learning Disabilities; or those with physical disability needs, autism or any other limiting conditions is highly desirable. - Good IT skills are a MUST - you must be proficient with the use of all Microsoft Office packages; - You must have a Full UK Driving Licence and use of your own car (business mileage & insurance paid).
