Overview
Freight Operations Executive Monday to Friday My client is looking for either an Airfreight apprentice, or a Airfreight 2nd jobber or someone who has freight operation experience who can deal with from start to end process. If you ae looking for your next freight position this could be the role for you. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Issue quotations to prospects, customers, and overseas offices Follow up issued quotations Negotiate rates. Arrange collections with external parties Booking of shipments into FTS Handling customer enquiries Dealing with SRN's from overseas offices Preparation of customs entries via ICE system ( Training Given on system) Prepare, control & distribute all required documentation to counterparts complying with regulations & internal procedures Maintain excellent relationships with internal & external customers Follow up shipment status, identify incidents & ensure resolution of incidents Comply with QOSS Labelling of freight at end of day at airport warehouse Additional Requirements: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Company from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training. To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme. To work in accordance with all company policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental. It is important that during the employment with the Company and any time thereafter, that any information relating to the affairs of the Company is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. To have a knowledge of and apply the Depot's Business Plan in all aspects of development. To be active in the Account Management Program and support the Business Development Team.
