Overview
This leading vehicle components distributor is looking for a Picker / Packer to join their friendly Warehouse team at their York based Distribution Centre. As a Picker / Packer, your role would be to pick and pack orders ready for dispatch. We are ideally looking for a team-player with previous warehouse experience and a can-do attitude towards work. Daily duties will include: Packing products Picking single and multiple orders Using trolleys and other equipment to a safe standard Moving goods around the site safely Adhering to health and safety Skills and Experience: Must be a Team Player Must be able to work under pressure Computer Literate: Basic Word outlook and Outlook / Email Packages Must have good attention to detail Manual Handling experience Previous experience of working within a warehouse Job Details: Hours: 40 hours per week - Mon – Fri 9am – 5.30am - plus Saturday mornings 9am to 1pm overtime Salary: £8.75 per hour Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays paid – increasing to 23 days plus Bank Holidays after 5 years.
