Overview
We are working with a client to recruit a HR Advisor. Working within the Group HR function this newly created role will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Director with all things relating to People You will be working in a small team of 2, in a very fast paced and demanding environment that will require acute attention to detail. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring all administration and advisory tasks are completed in a proactive, positive and professional manner so working to deadlines and maintaining a level head is really important Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring that the HR processes and procedures in relation to the employee life cycle are completed in a timely manner Responsibility for all necessary HR administration including offer letters, contracts of employment, right to work checks, leaver letters and employment screening Supporting managers in preparing job descriptions and determining best recruitment methods for any new or vacant roles Providing advice and support to line managers and employees on a range of HR procedures, policies and issues, such as sickness absence, disciplinary and flexible working requests, ensuring they are implemented consistency throughout the business Providing accurate and timely employee information to the payroll company including starter and leaver details, absence, maternity leave etc Responsible for pensions and benefits administration Ensuring that the HR database is maintained with accurate information and the information contained in the database is held in line with data protection regulations Providing Key Management Information (MI) reports to the business on a regular basis. Providing support to the Director of Human Resources as required K ey Success Criteria Previous HR Officer or similar experience Experience of payroll and auto enrolment Strong working knowledge of UK employment law Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to communicate across all levels of the business and confident in making decisions A high energy performer with the ability to remain positive during difficult times Attention to detail Constantly strives for exceeding, not just achieving A passion for maintaining your own personal development.
