Production Operative - Stockport SK4 Apply now – immediate starts available for the right candidate Mach Recruitment are looking for Production Operatives to work in a large warehouse and distribution site in Stockport. Any 5 out of 7 days pay rate £8.21 rising to £8.72 in April Working full time on a temporary ongoing assignment, these positions will become permanent for the right candidates. The Role: · You will be working on a production line, completing various tasks. · Tasks include; putting the ready-made meals into an informative sleeve, packing between 12-24 meals into a moving box from the conveyor belt, hand weighing ingredients and feeding the machines with trays. · Check the product quality, making sure the product is sealed and the relevant information is on the sleeve. · Ensure all work instructions and procedures are followed. · Work with other departments when necessary. The Candidate Must: · Have good communication skills. · Have the ability to be able to work within a team. · Be able to proactively support and assist the supervisors and other members of the team. · Have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy as the position will involve some paperwork. · Some tasks may include heavy lifting. · Be able to work in a fast place environment.
