Digital/Cloud Service Designer IR35: Out of scope Location: York Duration: To November 2020 Rate: Negotiable Our client is a very large public sector organisation, based in York, North Yorkshire. They seek a Service Designer for a Smart Waste Tracking programme of work. Essentially, a waste tracking service. This is a digital service design, not an operational design. Our client is looking to provide a holistic view - To map and visualise the end-to-end Service Design of the solution. Working with 2 existing suppliers, you will provide visibility and mapping to realise the service offering of this greenfield Cloud Integration Platform. The technical stacks are present, together with an Architect, what is required is to bring to visual life this end-to-end solution. Sought: Service Design - Process Design - Service Models - bringing to life Digital delivery and shaping of service and how is going to work Visualise end-to-end Service Design for 2 x waste tracking solutions (Working with 3rd Party Suppliers) Visualisation of how other depts (Regulators / Agencies etc) are going to 'speak' to the new Service Design (via APIs to the Integration Platform) with their respective existing systems Information - End-to-end flows and integrations Visualise service maps to show solution interactions with other entities, systems and stakeholders - How stakeholders and other departments interact with the new Service Design Visualise end to end user journey flows Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - collaborating, relationship-building, communicating and developing understanding and support of user-centred design Provide a 'helicopter' visualisation as to the Service Design Agile working - Comfortable with agile ways of working and working as part of Scrum Team Beneficial: Working to GDS Government standards Waste Management service design experience SERVICE DESIGN, SERVICE DESIGNER, USER, MAPPING, USER JOURNEY, PRODUCT, DESIGN PROCESS, PROCESS DESIGN, DIGITAL, CLOUD, API, INTERACTION, FLOWS, USER CENTRED, AGILE, GDS, GOVERNMENT DIGITAL SERVICE Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
