Overview
We are supporting our multinational Logistics client in Birmingham to appoint an interim Commercial Finance Manager to carry out BAU commercial finance processes and financial controls across multi-site divisions whilst they complete their 2020 growth strategy. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager for Midlands and North you will take ownership of all periodic reporting, prepare client flash reports and partner with senior managers across the portfolio to monitor budgets. Managing just two direct reports, our client is looking for an influential candidate with a strong track record of delivering on Finance Management assignments with commercial pace. A candidate who has qualified CIMA/ACCA will be preferable but not compulsory. Ideally, you will: Support the Regional Business Manager to cover the Balance Sheet, P&L, business partnering and control project costs Prepare precise weekly and monthly reporting to site and contract managers Ensure accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations and key financials are complete Conduct business partnering with Operations Managers- reviewing costs, budgets and forecast actuals Be capable of monitoring and improving operational or financial procedure to meet business requirements of the team In Return, you will: Have the opportunity participate within a globally established commercial business Be able to liaise with a range of finance and non-finance stakeholders Receive support and guidance to excel in this role
