Based from Birmingham City Centre this is an opportunity to join a major UK organisation as a HR Business Partner. Working alongside peers in a well-regarded, effective and very busy HR team you will be asked to work as something of a change agent as the HR function looks to work smarter as genuine HR Business Partners. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract You must have a strong HR background with the ability to deal with day to day HR/ER issues and yet the role will more likely focus on Working with operational stakeholders explaining how and where HR can add more value as a strategic partner. Working with HR peers to ensure that the new operational HR function can deliver the day to day HR support that the business needs. Taking a lead on continuous improvement projects within HR to ensure that HR processes and systems can deliver more commercially relevant support for the business In order to be considered for this vacancy you must: Have an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations, the practical application of it and the impact this can have within a business. Have an understanding of what "good" looks like when it comes to HR models and functions. This likely means that you will have worked in a high performing commercial environment with a well established HR function. Have experience of taking HR peers and operational stakeholders on this sort of journey previously.
