The Deltic Group has a Deputy Manager vacancy at KUDA nightclub in the beautiful city of York. Formerly a technical college built in 1827 the building has seen many transformations, starting as Silks, then the Gallery and currently the club we love today, Kuda An amphitheater of atmosphere. With LED technology, an incredible sound system and the most amazing lighting to make for an incredible spectacle of a nightclub Kuda is boutique, chic, contemporary and completely state of the art. Trading 5 nights per week with 2 rooms (Kuda & TIKI), the venue has established itself as the largest & the No1 destination venue in Yorks nightlife. This opportunity ideally suits someone who will be one of the next Deltic General Managers of one of our venues and the successful candidate therefore will have a comprehensive knowledge and experience of working within the late-night sector. Our expectations Your primary task is to support the General Manager in all aspects of the day to day management of the business. You will be working alongside and supporting the existing management team who are responsible for most of the daily management tasks within the venue. What can we do for you? · The salary range is £24k - £26k per annum depending on experience; · An industry leading Bonus scheme plus other benefits; · A platform to help you achieve the role of General Manager within the Deltic Group · Support functions via our HUB office and senior management team. Your duties will include but are not limited to: · Holding a personal licence; · Supporting the General Manager; · Delivering inspirational staff training leading to a culture of exceptional customer service; · Front of House management; · Ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are met and adhered to; · Maintain all company procedures relating to stock and cash controls; · Deliver exceptional internal, external and operational standards; · Helping to manage a pre-booked sales team; and · Marketing of weekend club nights through all social media platforms. All applicants must be well presented, professional, a good communicator with excellent overall operational standards. You must also be eligible to work in the UK. This is a full time, permanent role. The role requires flexibility as business needs will differ from week to week.
