Dementia Deputy Home Manager

Dementia Care Manager York up to £30,000 per annum Full Time / Permanent - 40 hours per week (supernumerary hours included) DMD Recruitment are working on behalf of a family run care provider to recruit a Dementia Care Manager to take the lead of their specialist dementia unit, which is part of a large care complex situated to the east of York. Reporting to the Registered Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management and success of the dementia unit, ensuring high quality standards whilst providing strong leadership and support to the staff team. The unit is a separate building which has been specifically designed and built to a high standard to cater for the needs of older people living with dementia. The role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dementia care and someone who has current experience working in a supervisory position within a care home. Completion of Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required. A qualification in Dementia Care will be highly advantageous.
