The fully CQC compliant facility offers luxury living and the highest standards of care to older people from throughout the York area who are living with age related frailties and dementia. Details of this RGN/RMN/RNLD Nurse Deputy Manager role and what the home is offering: A permanent contract for 40 hours per week, usually working supernumerary day shifts A very competitive annual salary of £42,000, which equates to circa £20.20 per hour and is in line with NHS Band 7 rates of pay NMC registration fees paid, plus support with revalidation Ongoing learning and development opportunities and support with career progression Free on-site parking, refreshments whilst on duty plus subsidised meals A healthcare plan, a sick pay programme and a generous annual leave allowance which increases with service length As RGN/RMN/RNLDNurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the clinical and operational management of the home and will run the home in their absence. You will manage, monitor and evaluate all aspects of the service, including participating in clinical supervisions and audits, and delivering effective line management and clinical leadership to the care and nursing teams. What we are looking for in a Nurse Deputy Manager: NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD will all be considered Demonstrate proven leadership/managerial experience in a large UK nursing home, with experience managing a large team of staff Confident undertaking clinical audits, with a good understanding of the processes and procedures involved Have good working knowledge of CQC essential standards, Local Authority requirements and best practices of care in an elderly and dementia care setting A strong leader with effective communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to management If you would like to apply now, please follow the link provided.
