Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading company based in East Grinstead who are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team on a full time basis. The company is a true leader in its sector and looking to expand the team Key tasks / responsibilities: Achieve maximum sales at all times Deal with customers courteously and efficiently Working in the Yard, moving stock and manual handling Maintain quality to a standard expected by the company Ensure that a high standard of service to customers that is expected is maintained at all times Ensure stock is displayed to its best advantage Complete all administrative paperwork correctly and promptly Ensure that all procedures are adhered to Check stock levels and report shortages to the relevant Manager Keep all racks tidy Keep yard and site clean Put away delivered stock, checking it is correct against the paperwork Be able to take additional responsibilities when the need arises Knowledge, skills and ability: Previous experience within environments such as warehouse, picker packer or builders merchant (desirable) Good oral and written communication Manual handling and heavy lifting (essential) Basic Health and Safety Flexibility of working hours essential Ad hoc support at other local sites Ideally applicants will have a driving licence Salary £18,000 – £21,000 DOE 45 hours per week to include a Saturday morning 8am – 1pm Due to the high volume of applications, Lloyd Recruitment Services can only contact shortlisted candidates
