Job Title: Service Development Director Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience Location: UK locations considered The Company Gilbert Meher are working on behalf of a much valued client to appoint a brand new Service Development Director. Our Client specialises in care and education services for children and adults with a range of complex special needs. The company is full of life and enthusiasm for children and young people and they drive this outlook throughout the whole company. It is imperative for this company that any candidate joining the organisation fit the culture and the values already in place. The Role Following an incredible few years the group have decided to create an opportunity for someone to focus on service development alongside leading the commissioning, referrals and partnership teams. The successful candidate will work closely with the SLT in focusing on the establishment and optimisation of day-to-day operations and the company’s new business development. Furthermore, the Service Development Director will establish and monitor operational performance goals as well as conduct regular meetings with the Senior Management team to ensure that performance parameters are being met. The Candidate The successful candidate will show a clear talent across service development, ideally across residential child care. You will have had considerable experience within referrals, commissioning or service development as well as a flair for Business Development. Due to the nature of the role, you will be a skilled communicator, able to influence at 'C’ Level and think strategically. Most importantly, is that the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, charismatic and have a passion for children and young people.
