Overview

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the largest Education Providers in London on an exciting role in one of there many state of the art premises. They are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join a close knit team with a great culture and pro active work environment. Dealing with all Employee Relations issues and casework, management information and other ad-hoc support as required to ensure that the HR Business Partner Team successfully delivers an outstanding service to Employees and Management Teams within their designated business areas. The Employee Relations Advisor will use their specialist skills and knowledge to be proactive in identifying patterns and trends, analysing and interpreting Management Information; resolving casework sensitively and within a reasonable time-frame; whilst providing accurate advice and guidance on all HR and ER related matters. The Employee Relations Advisor will ensure that their approach to the service delivery is consistent, whilst recognising the uniqueness of the individual Colleges and Service areas within the Group. They will be proactive, willing to drive improvements and challenge behaviours, providing a professional consultancy service, i.e. acting as employee champions and change agents, anticipating development needs and working in partnership with Managers and colleagues within the wider HR Team to provide evidenced based solutions and a collaborative approach. Essential Experience CIPD qualified or willing to work towards Relevant HR experience gained, preferably gained in a complex organisation with multiple sites. Up to date with current employment law and best practice, and its application in the workplace. Experience of and confidence in providing advice and guidance to all levels of staff on ER related matters and supporting Managers to resolve casework within reasonable timescales. Experience of developing or contributing towards employment policies and procedures, or delivering any associated training. Experience of providing and interpreting Management Information, identifying trends and interpretation of statistical data to suggest evidence based recommendations and solutions. Personal credibility which validates HR expertise and supports the service delivery and Managers expectations. Experience of working in a team to achieve results. Skills and Competences Required Good interpersonal, influencing, listening, verbal and written communication skills - with the ability to write clear and evidenced based recommendation, reports and correspondence; and the ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures clearly Good influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships quickly, to gain trust, credibility and confidence in the service, particularly when dealing with casework, to ensure that stakeholders are kept up to date with progress.
