Returns and Repairs Assistant York and Malton YO60 £18k - £20k Commutable from Malton or York Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm with 1hr for lunch Own transport is required due to location Do you have a technical mind with experience fixing electrical and mechanical items? Do you have an instinct for finding the answer, resolving problems and finding solutions? The Company This well-established company based between York and Malton are looking for someone to join their Warehouse team as a Returns and Repair Assistant. Duties ·Repair and fix items to an excellent standard. ·Process incoming returns from couriers and customers and ensure they are accurately logged on the system. ·Maintain system for second/damaged stock ensuring customer and costs are considered appropriately. ·Control accurate inventory of stock held on site. ·Ensure stock is stored, handled and transported securely in line with company procedures and health and safety guidelines. ·Accurately pick, pack and process customer orders and prepare ready for collection. ·Unload incoming deliveries and process them. ·Help to ensure the workplace and warehouse environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness at all ties. Skills Required ·Excellent knowledge of electrics, plumbing and mechanics. ·A positive, cheerful and forward-thinking approach. ·Amazing problem solving skills. ·Good computer skills. ·Hard working and reliable. ·Team work as well as initiative to work on your own.
