Job Description Job Title: Logistics andSupply Chain Operative Reports to: Global Supply Chain and Operations Manager Description of Role: To manage day to day operations of the warehouse, dispatch and finished product packing activities to ensure that stock levels of Yourgene products are suitably maintained and distribution to customers is performed efficiently upon receipt of orders. Key areas of responsibility: Receiving and booking in of delivered materials Ensure goods and materials are stored appropriately to cGMP Generation of documentation for the department including but not limited to purchase order, delivery notes, goods received notes Preparing and picking of materials for upstream business processes Maintenance of stock records Cycle counting and stock taking Preparation and completion of dispatch documentation Packing goods ready for dispatch Dispatching of finished product to customers Ensuring packing requirements and schedules are achieved Facilitate the forecasting and scheduling of packing runs Packing line clearance Preparation and completion of packing documentation Adhoc support of customer order tracking and customer order service training and support as and when required. Consults with: Commercial Team Other functions (e.g. Quality/Regulatory, Clinical, Development, Finance, HR, Admin) External consultants appointed by Yourgene Health External companies (e.g., suppliers, commercial partners, customers etc) Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: Preferably educated to HNC level in an appropriate discipline Experience of working and adhering to an accreditation, desirable experience with the ISO13485 Quality Management Systems Excellent planning and organisational skills with an attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and own initiative Enthusiasm, drive diligence and a willingness to take responsibility to ensure success Able to work under pressure and to consistently meet deadlines Good IT skills including all Microsoft Office applications Experience of working within interdisciplinary teams is desirable Benefits: Private Health Care of BUPA Cash Plan 5 x Death in Service Discretionary Bonus 25 Days Holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays which increases by one day each year up to a maximum of three years 1 Additional Days holiday for your birthday, to be taken in the week of your celebration As an employee’s time in service and accountability increases, as do the benefits.
