The company offer unrivalled career progression with a pipeline of new projects for several years ahead so this is an exciting time to join The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: · the organisation of safe and efficient site logistics & traffic management · ensuring the smooth running of vehicles, plant machinery, materials & deliveries to and from site · conducting early morning briefings to subcontractors and staff · organising gate staff, delivery schedules & access of vehicles and walkways · organising skips and waste management · day to day problem solving on any logistical issues raised · reporting back to the Project Management and Directors on continuous improvements to be made regarding procedures Experience Required · A background working as a Logistics Manager or Logistics Supervisor for a large building contractor. · Trade background with experience of working on site in a management or supervisory role · Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office word, excel, outlook · Relevant industry certificates CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid · Ideally appointed person CPCS · Good man management and interpersonal skills, reliable and driven · Ability to work under pressure and problem solve The salary & Package A negotiable Basic Salary is on offer. Please state salary expectation on application. This will be dependent on skills and level of experience.
