Overview
Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Location: Watton Salary: £11.47 P/h Welder/Fabricator Duties/Responsibilities: To perform manufacturing functions of fabrication and coded welding in accordance with the relevant standards and any other standards which may apply to these functions. To read engineering drawings and build heaters to the required specifications. To comply with the health and safety regulations in place at the time, and to adhere to any and all other policies. The skills required: To comply with the health and safety regulations in place. The skills required - time served three years (min) A good engineering background. The ability to read engineering drawings. Fabrication - pipe fitter. Fillet welds and pipe butts to x-ray standard. Pressure vessel welding experience essential. The preferred codes as follows - TIG / MMA welding stainless steel 316L, Alloy 800, Duplex, plus carbon experience. Full training will be given to increase your welding codes needed. Applicants will be required to undertake a weld test on a pipe butt. On Offer 39 hours per week as follows: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 8am - 3:30pm Friday 30 minutes for lunch each day Free onsite parking 20 days holiday per annum, rising by 1 day per 2 years of full service up to a maximum of 25 days plus bank holidays.
