The Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital provides a wide range of complex and major Surgery to a catchment area serving a population of 822,500 patients. Our Surgical services are highly rated and regarded, with excellent surgical outcomes and mortality figures in all specialties. We have internationally recognised surgeons, who are experts in their fields in a variety of surgical specialties. Each Divisional Operational Manager works within a departmental leadership team that includes a Clinical Director and a Matron. The Operational Manager is also part of the wider Divisional Operations team of seven supported by Business, Finance and Human Resource leads. Divisional Operational Managers report directly to the Divisional Operations Director. As the post holder, you will be responsible for the day to day operational management of all the services within your area. You will ensure services are organized in such a way as to deliver high quality care, financial balance and the achievement of operational performance standards. A key aspect of this is leadership of staff and continual service improvement; so you will have proven yourself in previous roles to be a self-motivated, engaged and engaging leader.
