The purpose of the role is: To partner with the operational and support directorates across the business, building and managing relationships in order to facilitate efficient and accurate accounting and reporting whilst also providing financial advice and support, driving financial performance, and challenging financial under-performance as a critical friend. To provide timely and accurate service charge accounting and reporting and assist in the preparation of annual statements and the design and improvement of procedures, calculations and reporting. To provide timely and accurate fixed asset accounting and reporting including the management of relevant fixed asset software. To provide accounting and reporting support to the Senior Finance Business Partner, including monitoring of budgets, reconciliation of Group bank accounts, and reporting of subsidiary performance and position. Key characteristics that are required are; * Accurate and conscientious * Good organisational skills * The ability to analyse and solve complex problems * A team player able to support their line manager and the wider finance team * Self-motivated with the ability to work flexibly to meet defined deadlines. * Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to explain service charge, fixed asset, and cost apportionment issues * Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders at an appropriate level * Ability to work collaboratively within the finance team and across departments * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise against competing demands.
