Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Paralegal to join a US law firm in the City on a long term temporary basis. The firm’s Employment practice are well-regarded and ranked by the legal directories. They are renowned for their work in advising high-profile companies with a range of complex contentious and non-contentious and employment matters, with the ability to handle cross-jurisdictional issues for their international clients. The work across many sectors, including consumer goods, banking and insurance. The team have a particular ability in handling industrial relations and trade union matters. The ideal Paralegal will have prior Employment and litigation experience. Contentious employment experience would be a distinct advantage, but those with non-contentious Employment and Litigation experience in a different role are also encouraged to apply. A good understanding of High Court litigation would be extremely beneficial. This will be a busy role which will focus predominantly on contentious Employment matters. As such, the successful Employment Paralegal will have the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile Employment matters by providing Paralegal support to the team’s Solicitors. This role would particularly suit an overseas qualified Lawyer who is new to the UK and looking for their first position in London. This Employment Paralegal role is an urgent requirement for the firm, therefore interested applicants need to be available at short notice. There is an excellent hourly rate of pay available.
