Overview
I am recruiting for a Credit Controller in the centre of Cardiff. My client is an international business and looking for someone who can take full responsibility for posting the payments and managing the debt. You will be required to start between 7.30am and 9am at the latest in order to post all the payments before chasing the outstanding debt. Therefore flexi time This role would very much suit an early riser. You will be responsible for - Credit control of approximately 150 customers involving all aspects of monitoring and recovering overdue debts Experience of when and how to escalate collections from phone call through collection stages up to instructing debt collection agency Allocation of daily customer bank receipts (1400 per month) from our £, €, US$, SEK and NOK bank accounts. Investigating customer and banking discrepancies Performing customer account reconciliations Processing of credit card and direct debit receipts and exceptions Resolution of customer e-mail issues/queries, including liaising with Customer Service and Sales department Additional data entry as required to assist the whole finance team You will report to the credit manager and express the following qualities Must be able to build strong relationships with account stakeholders in customer base Passionate about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment A go-getter who will put themselves forward and make things happen Pride in what you do, and desire to exceed expectations Willing to learn and take feedback A natural communicator Professional, but fun English first language or bilingual A second language would be a nice-to-have Right to work in UK If interested then please send me your CV ASAP Immediate start prefered but they will wait for the right person
