Litigation - Credit Hire - Top 20 Firm - Defendant - Small claims -Fast track - Multi track - Cardiff We are looking for Litigation Executives (Solicitor /CILEX / Litigation Executive or Paralegal) to join one of the top 20 Law firms in the UK in their Credit Hire Department, Cardiff. They offer training, and there several roles available to suit different levels of experience. The role: Handling a litigated case load of small claims and/or fast track cases Depending on experience - handling multi-track cases Handling appeals, credit hire fraud and strategic litigation Defendant work (Claimant work experience is acceptable) Representing Insurance Companies Opportunities to help shape strategy The Rewards: Competitive salary Neg DoE Bonus system Training bursaries Career opportunities 35 Hour week Flexible start & finish times between 7am-6pm Excellent commuting links 33 days holiday (including Stat days) Successful Applicants will have the following Essential experience: Proven experience of running litigated case load at a Solicitors, Insurance Company or Credit Hire Company Client-centric approach and excellent client care skills Experience of communicating and working with clients The ability to run an effective diary system Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills Excellent organisation and communication skills The ability to work effectively under pressure The ability to adhere to SLAs The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Credit Hire experience (preferable, but not essential) Defendant experience (preferable, but not essential) Knowledge of the CPR, the SRA Code of Conduct and their application (preferable, but not essential) If you are a Solicitor/CILEX/Litigation Executive or Paralegal with litigation experience and a basic understanding of Credit Hire please apply now, we’d like to hear from you.
