Overview
Are you looking for a paralegal opportunity which will truly add value to your legal career and allow you to excel? We are recruiting for ambitious paralegals with personal injury/litigation experience to join a national organisation in Cardiff. You will be a key team player in this market leading Credit Hire team working with Partners. Between them they oversee a growing team of 60 Credit Hire Specialists who are based in Manchester, London and Cardiff offices.They advise on all aspects of defendant credit hire dispute resolution, including small to multi-track cases and fraudulent credit hire claims. The department is at the forefront of strategic litigation in this area, having won leading cases such as Clayton v EUI Ltd, Akhtar v Boland and A-Line Taxis v Ward. On a daily basis you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of litigated claims, and will have high levels of client contact. Applications are encouraged from LLB/LPC graduates with expertise in handling litigated files, excellent negotiation skills and the confidence to build successful client relationships. All their training contracts are offered internally and the firm offered a total of 21 training contracts in 2019 to commence over the next year, a proportion of those are within the Credit Hire department.
