Overview

A global financial services business based in the city currently need a VP Employee Relations Specialist on a 6 month basis. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Legal and your stakeholders this role will manage complex employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievances, investigations, consultations, TUPE, redundancy processes, relocations and restructuring exercises due to organisational change. You will also provide advice and support on employee issues such as flexible working, absence and performance management. Manage complex Employee Relations cases Manage strategic Employee Relations projects Manage employee litigation including tribunal claims Subject matter expertise in the knowledge and application of employment law, HR policy and process Handle disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes end to end Document investigatory findings and conclusions Develop HR capability to understand and apply employment law, policies and practices Evaluate and assess employee relation trends Provide training and education sessions to employees and managers Oversee ER spend Relationship management with relevant external vendors including external Legal, stakeholder and the wider HR function Candidate Requirements: Employment law background preferred Ability to assess risks with Employee Relations issues and take appropriate steps to achieve resolution Knowledge and experience within a regulated and organisationally complex environment Knowledge of employee consultation processes and requirements for consultation Good counselling and advisory skills Client focused
