An EA/PA opportunity has arisen to join a successful pharmaceutical investment firm as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Operations covering maternity for a period of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have the experience and persona to develop and establish themselves within this organisation and make a success of the role. You will be supporting the VP 1:1, and two other Chiefs, all of whom are all extremely hard working and have high aspirations for the business. This is an exciting time to join this small company that has international interests and is set to grow Duties will include full EA/PA support– diary management and organisation. You will coordinate meetings with investors and clients, arrange international travel on a weekly basis, and provide assistance with research, projects, gatekeeping, events, records/board papers etc. and IT queries. It really is a varied all-round role and the scope is there to develop and get involved more with the business, whether this is marketing, business development or another area of your choice The role will be high level, demanding, and changeable - you must have ambition and a desire to exceed your Directors' expectations - having the desire to develop yourself professionally is an essential element to this role. You will be incredibly proactive and will use your initiative to pre-empt tasks and provide research before being asked. Strong MS office skills are required and any experience of the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage. Most importantly, you will have high-level EA/PA support and will be very client-facing. You will be a keen problem solver and will remain composed when dealing with senior clients. As this is a 12 month / year long contract we are looking for someone who can consider this.
