Overview
FRS are recruiting a Finance Officer for a reputable organisation based in the heart of Coventry. You will be joining a small established team who work in modern offices and have secure parking on site. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a role which has a 60/40 split in terms of Credit Control and Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger. Credit Control Ensuring aged debt is collected and payment plans are created following any issues Handling inbound and outbound calls, issuing letters and emails in line with set credit control procedures Identify and escalate unresolved, high risk and working with senior management to resolve the issue Purchase Ledger Processing payments Matching, batching and coding invoices Prepare sales invoices, monitor receipt of payments and undertake monthly bank reconciliation Other Production of debtors and creditors analysis at month end Ad-hoc project work alongside the senior finance and operational staff Ideally have working knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
