Landscape Gardener York £21k to £26k pa Are you ready for the next level of landscaping? Consider yourself a very talented individual? Then this could be the role for YOU We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Landscape Gardener to work for a well- established garden design and build business within York. The business has been designing and building bespoke gardens for nearly 30 years offering a professional service whose reputation proceeds them. Due to an ever-growing client base, they are looking to add the Landscaper to a team of currently nine full time landscapers. Job Purpose: Experience is essential in hard landscaping. Paving using a range of materials, along with brickwork, block paving, drainage, turfing, planting, timber work and fencing, are all items that will be tackle day to day. Experience of ponds and water features would be desirable but not essential. Digger, and basic landscaping machinery use, and the experience of these is also needed. Machinery tickets though are not required as 95% of the work is for private clients. You will be working on several private projects ranging in size, with up to five projects at any one time, directed and over seen by the project manager. Plant knowledge would be useful, but not completely essential. Individuals need to be able to work as part of a team. Good communication, and a strength in being professional is essential, so is honesty, if you lack an area of expertise, support and development will be offered. A full driving licence is required. Salary & Benefits: Pay would be negotiated as an hourly rate, plus bonuses and overtime after 40 hours. A vehicle, all tools, workwear and a good pension scheme are also included.
