Executive Head Chef –Uxbridge– Foodie Education Caterer - £35,000 - Mon-Fri Are you a talented Head Chef working within a high-end fresh food Hotel or Restaurant? Are you a Head Chef/Chef manager within a 100% fresh food School or B&I site? If so then this could be the perfect role for you… We are looking for a passionate and skilled Head Chef for an Education Contract Caterer in Uxbridge. About the role…. Working with a caterer who are all about quality – they run a restaurant style operation within their schools with all items being made on site 100% from fresh ingredients. You will be working alongside the central development team and have a real say in what goes on the core menu. The central team actively encourage ideas from the Exec Chefs to roll out across the sites. You will have the opportunity to run your own “specials” alongside the core menu to keep your creative juices flowing. What’s in it for you…? Working with 100% fresh produce and the ability to put your own spin on things. 06.00-18.00 - Monday-Friday (No Evening/Weekend Work) Enhanced holiday (up to 10 weeks per year) Great salary of up to £36,500 P/Annum Fantastic training and development opportunities Meals on duty Company provided uniform The Ideal Executive Head Chef/Chef Manager would possess the following skills and attributes… Strong craft skills The ability to plan, prepare, cook and present the menu to the high standard set by the company and expected every service by the client. Be able to manage, motivate, train and develop your team Basic computer skills required for inputting stocks, ordering and weekly bookwork The ability to ensure the kitchen is fully compliant with all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation and company policies/procedures. Excellent working knowledge of food trends, passionate about quality and seasonal produce. Due to the nature of the business all candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
