Overview
A top 20 City firm is looking for a mid to senior level Employment Associate to join its highly regarded and ranked Employment team for a full-time, permanent role. Based in London, this role has been newly created due to the significant increase in client work, including international projects and High Court work. Your New Firm The Employment Associate will be joining a mid-sized City firm boasting a strong Employment department which covers a variety of sectors and operates effectively at national level and on a cross-border basis. The Employment team covers all aspects of its clients’ relationships with their individual employees from recruitment to departure, as well as collective issues. The Role The core purpose of the Employment Solicitor is to help support the growing Employment team. Key duties will include: Supporting the partners in all respects of Employment Law, including Employment Tribunals and High Court litigation; Assisting in cross-border projects, including restructurings and compliance projects; and Assisting in work for senior executives. Candidate Requirements To be successful in your application to this Employment Associate role, you will be a qualified Solicitor who demonstrates: A strong academic background Training in a City firm environment Experience in Employment law, including general employment advisory work and TUPE Experience in restrictive covenant injunctions, delivery up applications and a range of employee competition issues is advantageous Benefits The Solicitor will be offered excellent prospects for progression and a culture that provides all staff with world-class support to achieve their ambitions and goals.
