If so We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Revenue Analyst to join experienced Finance team within our dynamic head office. The Role The purpose of the role is to support the Planning & Commercial Finance Manager to drive the financial analysis and revenue reporting while supporting the business performance for a multi-site company with ambitious growth plans. The Revenue Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team: working closely with both finance and non-finance colleagues to provide timely and meaningful financial analysis and insight on performance to ensure targets are achieved. Management accounting will form a limited part of this role. The right candidate will show good commercial insight as well being able to show past experience of analysis, management accounting and financial decision making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, analyse and interpret financial and non-financial data, identifying key performance issues to be addressed. The majority of this role will be driving revenue analysis Analyse centre profitability and build reporting tools that allow the centres to understand and manage their own numbers efficiently Support the management team in building and submitting annual business plans/budgets and monthly rolling forecasts Make system improvements to ensure data collected and analysed continues to be relevant and develops with the business needs Complete management accounting activities, specifically: revenue recognition, gross margin accounting and applicable balance sheet reconciliations Work closely with colleagues across the finance team to continuously improve the quality of the finance service provided Provide guidance and support to the Centre teams and discuss their results to obtain an insight to their business. Eg; Centre Plans and new CRM training Play a key role in the implementation of new systems and controlled business processes Manage projects and undertake other duties as required General: Take responsibility for own learning and development Keep on top of any issues that arise Actively participate and drive activities that improve the quality of the services provided Work closely with colleagues across the finance team and wider business to actively participate in and drive activities that improve the quality of the services provided Key Experience and Skills Required: Appropriate accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Previous Finance Analyst experience a prerequisite as well as a strong grasp of accounting Proven experience of working successfully in partnership with senior management on financial and business performance issues, within a fast paced, multi-site, SME environment A high degree of commercial acumen is essential, together with the ability to think through the numbers and communicate effectively the interpretation of key issues in a clear, concise manner Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture Ability to meet tight deadlines A rigorous mind-set and the ability to deliver timely and insightful information Proven capability to prioritise work, work under pressure and operate to tight deadlines A logical thinker with strong excel skills to ensure solid analysis of data and reports Experienced in Salesforce and Financialforce is desirable A clear thinker, commercially focused, calm under pressure, and an excellent communicator Good influencing skills with senior managers, using clear logical data presented in a structured manner that shapes business decisions Team player with proactive attitude Resilient character What We Offer You in Return Our Benefits Package Annual bonus Enhanced holiday entitlement including Birthday day off Perkbox Enhanced sick pay, maternity/paternity pay and pension contributions and many more Our Values We pride ourselves on being Proudly Professional , Genuinely Hospitable , Uncommonly Decent , Truly Responsible and Embracing the Best and are continually investing in training and development to ensure we as a team live and breathe these Values.
