Overview
One of York's quickest growing businesses are now recruiting a Financial Planning and Analysis ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified Accountant to join their specialist team. This company has become one of York's largest IT businesses, giving the role plenty of promotional and growth opportunity. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, assisting with commercial decisions and reporting in senior stakeholder meetings. The company environment is fast paced and dynamic, so ideally you will have a background in similar environments. You will be responsible for: The preparation of monthly board report, bank reports and the business area director's report, covering budget, forecasting, and commercial analysis. Liaising with the marketing, operations, and sales team on financial projects and their companywide affects. Assisting with all finance relating to company mergers and acquisitions Analysis of historic trends in KPIs, including all areas of revenue, expenses, capital expenditures etc Support the senior analyst team and department heads with ad hoc finance projects Work with the businesses current systems and processes, pushing efficiencies. Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes Ideally you will be recently ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or currently nearing completion of your studies and have experience in a similar role. The role requires superb analytical skills and an eye for detail, as well as advanced excel skills. As this role will see you work with all company departments, verbal and written communication is key as well as a strong aptitude to learn and develop new skills.
