Overview
We are delighted to be recruiting for an Employment Lawyer to join a South London Borough Council on a 6-month locum contract. This initial contract is expected to extend. The council offer 1 day working from home and other flexible working arrangements. The offices are also located nearby to public transport links. Given the current climate, this role will initially be undertaken remotely, with just 1 day a week in the office. The Employment Lawyer will be handling a caseload made up of matters such as: Unfair dismissals Discrimination cases TUPE Employment tribunals Our client has expressed flexibility in their expectations for the experience of the Employment Lawyer, advising that local authority experience is not essential and that they will consider candidates with varying PQE, so long as they have knowledge and practice of employment law.
