Job Title: Logistics Export Administrator Location: Amersham Basic Salary: £23,000 pa Hours: Monday – Friday – 830am – 530pm This is an exciting opportunity to work for a very well-known family feel organisation that haveresponsible for managing the flow of export documentation for all International shipments. been around for 38 years and have over 170 retail stores. This is a fantastic role working in our busy Logistics Planning team based in our Head Office in Amersham, you will be responsible for managing the flow of export documentation for all International shipments. You will be working closely with other departments including buying, quality assurance, finance and our international operations and merchandising teams. You will be a commercially aware individual that has previous experience within a relevant export role and has the ability to quickly gain a good understanding of systems and processes as well as strong communication skills. You will need to combine your commercial knowledge and awareness of our International operations with a natural ability to build working relationships to deliver a first-class service to our partners. Responsibilities Responsible for producing necessary export documentation for all International shipments leaving our Distribution Centres. This includes both packing lists and load plans. Working with the Partnership team to collate key information from the necessary departments to ensure the smooth despatch of goods. Liaising with the DC and shipping companies to organise collection of goods. Responsible for communicating any amendments or shipment delays to relevant partners and internal departments Manage collections from the DC to ensure outbound workflow is phased inline with overall outbound operations. Build and maintain strong working relationships with international partners/ shippers. Ensure all export documentation is uploaded in line with UK customs requirements to enable tracking of international shipments. Other ad hoc duties such as analysis and reporting Skills & Experience Minimum of 1 years experience in a relevant export role Knowledge of current UK customs export documentation requirements. Commercially aware with strong organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to independently manage your workload as well as work closely with other members of the team. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel and Outlook Previous candidates have been located in the areas of Amersham, High Wycombe, Chesham Bois, Chalfont, Latimer, Hyde Heath, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas with good commuter links.
