We’re offering……… A stimulating and rewarding career pathway for an enthusiastic science graduate looking to become involved in the development of tomorrow’s medicines, in a successful MHRA Phase I Accredited Unit with an international reputation.Experience is preferable although not essential, as full training will be provided.Applicants should have a good Bachelors degree in a life science or related discipline (e.g. sports science, physiology, biology), and a desire to work in a patient facing role conducting physiological assessments. The role…… You will support a diverse range of studies/trials specialising in research involving patients and healthy volunteers, primarily in respiratory research, as well as undertaking drug development programmes in a variety of other therapeutic fields.Key aspects of the role include performing a range of physiological measurements (e.g. spirometry, bronchial challenges), working towards delivery quality data, and contributing to the successful outcome of international clinical trials and research projects. The role would suit a self-motivated, organised individual with an interest in respiratory physiology who is able to work independently, as well as within an established team of clinicians, researchers and support staff.A candidate who enjoys problem solving and applying this skill to experimental procedures and maintaining data quality would be well-suited to this position.
