Clinical Negligence - Solicitor/Legal Executive
Overview
An experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Litigation Executive is required to manage a caseload of complex claims for a legal 500 firm in Manchester City Centre. The team has been grown on quality and by bringing on the best clinical negligence solicitors the market can offer. You will be involved in all aspects of litigation and deal with the claims from cradle to grave. Some of the Clinical Negligence claims you will deal with will have a value over £1 million. Responsible for: Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader Working alongside customers to ensure the relevant information is recorded and collected to enable the progression of the case in a proactive manner Obtaining relevant medical evidence to confirm the condition of the customer Drafting correspondence as required, including LOCs, letter of instruction etc Following up medical records and researching medical conditions Co-ordinating the progression of cases with all internal and external parties Negotiating settlement on behalf of the claimant Issue and service of proceedings (as and when required) Alongside a market leading benefits package, you will also receive a salary up to £45,000.
