Fixed term contract for 12 months   Are you looking for an opportunity where your skills will make a difference in helping to end homelessness and rebuild lives?   About the role   Somewhere Safe to Stay west delivers essential provision to seven west SStS is moving into its second year providing intensive move on support to rough sleepers and those at high risk of rough sleeping. Through their work with SStS west many clients will be prevented from ever having to sleep rough.   The team will work across seven West London Boroughs supporting clients with temporary accommodation arrangements at risk of breaking down. The team will work rapidly to mediate and prevent accommodation from breaking down; and providing support to clients to find suitable alternative accommodation where this is not possible.   In the role of Case Coordinator you will: Play a central role in coordinating the day to day case work of 3 Prevention Workers to ensure the undertaking of high quality casework with clients. Provide essential support and guidance to the team of Prevention Workers; particularly around reconnection and complex cases; working with a person centred approach. Develop and maintain good relationships with partner services such as Local Authorities; and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve the aims of the project. Work alongside the SStS Managers to develop and implement the essential prevention service to ensure that targets are met. In this role you will work across West London, Monday – Friday (9am-5pm).     What we’re looking for   We are looking for someone with experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating with stakeholders and external agencies to a high level; to build strong partnerships to deliver services. You will also have experience of client case management and the resilience to achieve and meet agreed outcomes. The ability to coordinate a project or team in a homelessness service and provide reconnection advice, is also essential.     If you have the ability to manage complex behaviours and motivate staff and clients to achieve outcomes with a creative and person centred approach; great communication skills and the ability to manage your own time, and empower individuals to make positive changes we want to hear from you.
